The Low Down
The Extras: There's usually a line during the lunch hour, but it moves very quickly. Head over when the lunch crowd goes back to work and you won't have to wait.
Where to Sit: There are no seats, of course, but the cart is stationed just across the street from Union Square, where park benches abound.
Know Before You Go: Although there are no official hours and no phone number (it's a street cart, after all), Rafiqi's is there virtually every day, all day, until well after sundown.

Like its counterparts around the city, the Union Square location of this popular food cart serves up inexpensive Middle Eastern delights like chicken and lamb gyros, rice platters and pita sandwiches, made to order.
