The Low Down

The Extras: In addition to the signature blend, you can also purchase fair trade coffees from eight Colombian micro-regions, as well as fair trade products like woven straw hats and bags in the restaurant's small retail area.

Save Money: If you get addicted to Macondo's signature coffee blend, never fear: You can buy it by the bag and make it at home every morning.

Know Before You Go: The empanadas come two to an order for $2.50, and as the price suggests, they're pretty small. If you're making a meal out of them, order a couple of varieties or add a house salad or a side of beans or rice.
